Step 1: Complete Disassembly

The journey begins with a complete car. We document every component with photos and inventory tags as we disassemble. Why It Matters: Complete disassembly allows us to restore every surface, inspect every component, and eliminate hidden rust or damage.

Step 2: Frame & Chassis

We perform a complete sandblasting to bare metal, inspection for cracks, and welding repairs. We treat the frame with primer and complete undercoating for rust prevention.

Step 3: Engine & Transmission

Complete disassembly and rebuild. The chassis is completely operational and test-driven BEFORE the body is ever installed.

Step 4: Body & Cosmetic
Bead blasted to remove all paint and corrosion. New steel is welded in place—we do not use Bondo patches. Body refinished with etch primer and guide coat.

Step 5: Interior & Top

Original interior carefully removed and preserved or reproduced. Dashboard refinished, seats reupholstered to original spec or customer preference.

Step 6: Final Assembly
Every bolt torqued to specification. Fluid levels checked. Then, a minimum 50-mile test drive on varied roads to ensure engine temperature, brake responsiveness, and smooth shifting.

The Jeepster: A Brief History

The Willys Jeepster was produced from 1948-1951, representing an early attempt to create a civilian vehicle from the legendary WWII Jeep. With its unique open-air design, approachable price point, and go-anywhere capability, the Jeepster became a cultural icon. There were only ~19,000 produced, making them a rare sight today.
